This wine web site has a few different areas and features. Here is a quick explanation on how to find what you’re looking for and learn more about wine.
The navigation bar link Podcast Episodes contains links to each audio lesson that was released as a podcast. You can download these to your mp3 player (such as an iPod), listen to them on your computer, burn them to a CD to give to friends, whatever you’d like.
The navigation link Wine Lessons contains links to a number of lessons that you can read in order. The list is far from complete–I’m still writing them! But, if you’re looking for the written materials, this is the place.
The link for the Marketplace takes you to a simple list of books and other items that you can buy from Amazon.com that will help your wine education. When you buy via this page, you help support this web site since I get a small commission off of any sales.
In the right sidebar you’ll see the graphic for my eBook, the Wine For Newbies Wine Tasting Course. This is the very first thing I’ve ever charged money for, and I sold far more copies than I thought I would. It’s only $19.95, and you can find out more by clicking on the graphic or the link in the first line of this paragraph.
Just below the “buy the book” graphic, you’ll see a section where you can sign up to get blog posts by email or in your RSS reader. (If you’re unfamiliar with RSS, we have an explanation.) You can also follow me on Twitter, subscribe to the podcast via iTunes or RSS, and more. What I like about all of this is that you don’t need to come back to the page again and again to see if there’s anything new. When there’s something new, you get notified. How cool is that?
Of course, I hope you will spend some time reading the various posts on this web site. Please feel free to spend some time browsing, and be sure to tell your friends about this great wine education web site!
Cheers, and thanks!
Bill Wilson
