Audio from the vidcasts posted

As requested by a number of people, I’ve pulled the audio track from the four vidcast episodes. They are available in the iTunes Store and the other usual places.

Vidcast 1: Cotes du Rhone

Vidcast 2: Three Coins Syrah

Vidcast 3: Meritage and Aging Wines

Vidcast 4: Two German Rieslings

Wine Vidcast 4: Two German Rieslings

German wines are wonderful, but the entire topic can be, well, hard to learn. The ancient looking wine labels, hard-to-pronounce German names (hard for some of us, anyway), and words like “kabinett” or “trockenbeerenauslese” can send the faint-of-heart running toward a bottle of Chardonnay. If this is you, it’s time to screw your courage to your sticking place and learn about German Rieslings. In this video, we take the entire subject and break it down into small morsels, and then focus on just two of the many styles. If you learn them one or two at a time, you’ll be an expert before you know it. Enjoy, and please let me know what you think by leaving a comment!

Vidcast No. 2: Three Coins Syrah

In the previous vidcast, we took a look at Côtes du Rhône. In this episode, we take a look at what we find in a glass of California Syrah.

The first vidcast: Cotes du Rhone

In the audio announcement of the ebook, I promised something special. Here it is: the very first vidcast.

It’s a bit of an experiment, but the idea is simple: I sit down in front of my MacBook Pro’s iSight camera, pour a glass of wine, and see what we can learn from it. I have a lot to learn, so I will beg your patience as I get used to the new format. Please leave a comment and let me know what you think!

(As I post this, YouTube is still processing the video…so if it’s not showing up, you may want to check back a little later.)
