Let’s start your wine education!
This site hosted a podcast that began back in 2005 and ran through 2007. A few of the episodes are “dated,” meaning they refer to then-current events. But overall, these can be listened to any time. There are a few references to forums or show notes at the web site, but a lot of those features are gone now as part of the re-birth of Wine For Newbies.
I’ve marked what I think are the “best” episodes with three asterisks (***). Those are the ones you may want to listen to again and again.
Begin by listening to episode one and then just work your way through them. You can click on each lesson to listen in your browser, or you can download files to your computer. Oh yeah, don’t feel too obliged to donate. There are a few episodes where (as one iTunes reviewer put it) I did too much begging. If you feel the audio lessons offer value to you, and you want to kick a few bucks my way, I will not complain.
The costs of producing the podcast were absorbed long ago, so don’t worry about it.
Or, if you prefer, you can use iTunes.
