Anyone traveling to Napa Valley to visit wineries inevitably begins to wonder: what are all these different parts of Napa Valley? Wine fans will tell you that the different parts (known as American Viticultural Areas) are supposed to produce wines with certain characteristics not found in other parts of Napa Valley.
