I have recently discovered, quite by accident, that while MOST online companies won't ship wine to my locale directly, a few will. I won't mention what sites or what state, because I am eager to keep the grapes coming my way--finding great varietals I never would have had the chance to try otherwise, often for great prices. I'm certainly not doing anything illegal or wrong. I'm of (well more than) legal age, buying wine for personal consumption in my own home. Why on Earth shouldn't that be legal? Particularly in a state where, up until very recently, I could have purchased a handgun at Wal-Mart ... but NOT wine. Cause the latter is restricted. Geez!
