The Palm Beach Post is a newspaper that covers Palm Beach County, Florida, which is along the southeast coast. It’s not as well known as Miami, but the very well-to-do call this part of Florida home. (Jimmy Buffett has a beautiful ocean-front mansion…I’ll have to dig up the pictures of it I took a few years ago.)
The paper’s food and wine writer has a couple of nice articles. One is sort of a Q and A with several sommeliers at local restaurants. This article offers a good bit of advice and insight from the wine experts, including their favorite off-duty wines (bargain hunters take note). The second article covers the rigorous process one must undergo to become a master sommelier.
Both are worth reading, and like many newspaper articles, they aren’t too long.
