Wow, people are really getting into the American Wine Blog Awards over at Fermentation. As I looked at the categories, I figured Wine for Newbies might fit well into the best single-subject category since I tend to think of the blog as an educational thing, but Wine for Newbies has been nominated in the best overall wine blog and best wine-related podcast or videoblog.
I’m really touched by the nominations. Like many people, I feel good when I hear or see that listeners and readers value the work I’m doing. I get nice emails regularly, which is great, but being nominated along the likes of Grape Radio or Vinography is a real honor.

IMO while grape radio may have been around longer, you guys are better. I find your show more informative and just plain more fun. My only wish is that the shows were longer. Keep up the good work and good luck!!
